What is proxy bidding?
Proxy bidding allows you to place an absentee bid on an item without the need to be present at the auction event. During the auction, a member of our staff will bid on your behalf.
 
What is required to proxy bid?
First, registration is required, during which you must agree to the terms of sale.   After you submit your proxy bid, a deposit of 25% of the total Bid Limit is to be send to:

Please attach your completed proxy bid forms along with a check or money order. If you wish to pay be credit card, print the Credit Card Authorization Form and fax it to: (708) 343-7100.
 
How do I know how much to bid for an item?
You want to place the maximum amount that you are willing to pay for an item.
 
If my maximum bid is $2000.00, will I have to pay $2000.00?
Short Answer: No.
Long Answer: It depends on the bidding at the time of the auction. If the bidding stops at $1200.00, and you're the high bidder, you pay only $1200.00. If you're the high bidder at $2000.00, then you will pay $2000.00.
 
How do I know if I won an item?
You will be notified within 2 business days of the auction end if you were the high bidder for your item. Please, do not call the day of the auction.
 
I know I won the item, when do I have to pay for it? How can I pay for it?
You are required to submit payment within 24 hours of being notified of your successful bid. Payment can be in the form of credit card (Visa, MasterCard, AMEX), Cashiers Check, or Company Check Accompanied by a bank letter guaranteeing the amount of the check.
 
Now that I won my item and I've paid for it, how do I get it?
You must arrange your own shipping. Upon arrangement, please notify us of the pick-up date.
